Black Bear Approaching

We went for a drive this afternoon on a newly constructed stretch of highway. It’s not unusual to see bears and other wildlife on the roads in Labrador, but this fellow was particularly interested in finding out who we were and what we were doing on this isolated road! Since we were interested in having our own supper and not being part of his, we slowly moved ahead, and then drove on, while the bear checked out where we had been stopped.
